General Description
Smart HUB is the heart of BE WAVE system, responsible for integrating wireless devices and managing security and automation functions. The controller is enclosed in a sleek enclosure that allows both placement on a shelf and mounting on a wall, for example.
The device communicates with system components in the 868 MHz band using two-way encrypted radio transmission in the AES standard. Diversification of transmission channels (four channels pLus an additional channel for receiving images from the Motion Detector Cam) reduces interference with other signals and increases operational reliability.
Communication, users and system functions
The Smart HUB controller supports up to 128 BE WAVE wireless devices, with the ability to assign them to up to 50 rooms. The system can be used by up to 50 users, who can be assigned appropriate permissions according to the installation configuration.
BE WAVE mobile apLication is available for programming, control and diagnostics of the system. Connectivity can be through the local network or the Internet using the server SATEL, and apLication can be installed on up to 5 user mobile devices. The user can use full or partial protection, and the functions of scenes (up to 100 scenes) and routines (up to 100 routines) enable simplified control and automation of system operation.
The Smart HUB has a memory of 8,000 events, which allows for detailed recording of the system's operating history. Events can be signaled via push notifications, as well as monitored at professional monitoring stations.
Monitoring, power and security
The controller allows monitoring events to two monitoring stations, with support for Contact ID, SIA, SIA IP and Bold Manitou communication formats. Data transmission to the stations is via Ethernet, which provides a stable communication channel. The device has the ability to update the software of the controller and the devices in the system, making it easy to keep the installation up to date with the latest software version.
The Smart HUB is powered by 230 V AC, 50-60 Hz and is equipped with a 3.6 V / 3200 mAh battery that acts as an emergency power supply. The built-in battery charging circuit provides battery status monitoring, 250 mA charging current, and disconnection of a discharged battery when it reaches 2.8 V. Tamper protection against opening the case and detachment from the ground enhances the device's security, and compliance with EN 50131 Grade 2 and relevant environmental standards enables use in professional security installations.
